- Dubai Municipality Inspections
Over the past couple of years, the certification process in Dubai has been simplified to make it easier for the architects and construction companies to do business in the city. The municipality inspector will need additional information and a correlation with the original construction permit/planning permissions, and his primary focus will be to ensure that the building’s fabric is in compliance with the approvals granted by the government before construction takes place, as well as ensuring that it is in compliance with the original construction permit/planning permission. In order to receive a certificate of completion, the construction work must be completed before it can be certified. The removal of TEMPORARY office and storage buildings is included in this process. Even if minor exterior building works, such as finishing landscaping and terracing, are not quite complete, the inspector will be able to accept them. Besides the COCs (Certificates of Conformity), you will also need to provide the NOCs (Non-Objection Certificates), Planning permissions, Dubai Civil Defense approval documentation and SIRA compliance, in addition to all other documents necessary for the completion of the construction project.
